HAPPY 6 Months to Baby Sally!!
Today marks 6 months since the birth of our second pretty Thomas girl - Baby Sally was born August 21st at 12:55am - shortly after we barely made it to John Muir Hospital in Walnut Creek. I was apparently in labor ALL DAY long and arrived at the hospital and was checked in by 11:30pm on the 20th. Unfortunately the epidural kicked in about 25 minutes AFTER Sally was born and the rest is history!
Sally has been on a hypoallergenic formula for 8 days and she seems to be doing so much better... the best in her short little life so far to be honest. She is smiling and laughing all day long and sleeping really well. She is also eating it up quite nicely and hopefully on Wed. next week we will learn of even more weight gain!
This formula she is on is called Neocate - www.neocate.com/ - check it out.
Another little update - Jason is in San Diego this weekend visiting friends and I am here in the Bay Area enjoying my friend Monica that is coming up to help me with the girls.
Photos will be posted shortly - thanks for reading this blog from time to time!

Goodbye paci!
Forget Daddy - she is wrapped around my little finger!
Here is my little thumb sucker. We are 99% done with the pacifier. I say this b/c I caved last night after 5 days and stuck one in her mouth in the car to keep her quiet. I also gave her another one for the car again this morning. She sleeps MUCH better now and takes naps and can self soothe without it so I am fine with the occasional paci.

Hello! Update on Sally
Long time - no write.
Sally is still a little peanut weighing in just under 12lbs.
She is not a big eater, so it makes sleeping through the night seem like an eternity away.... as she likes to wake for a meal around 2am or so.
Sally will be 5 months old on Monday the 21st!
I will post some photos and a video on here again soon.
Mary is doing well with potty training and has only had 2 accidents during her nap time so far.

Merry Christmas!!!!
Jason has hijacked Julie's blog because she rarely updates it and today is such an important day!
The past two days we got to spend time with Popi and Mimi. We had a lot of fun! Thanks for all the presents!
Sally's first Christmas!

Mimi and Sally

Thomas Family

Jason, Mimi, Sally, Popi, Mary and Holly

Yesterday we got to see Journey through Bethlehem at church. Mary had a great time seeing everything from the Roman Soldiers, Ponies and Sheep and of course Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus. Mary saw her boyfriend Pablo and also got to go on a buggy ride and a hay ride. An angel even appeared to Mary while she was tending to the sheep and goats

Dad and his two little sheep

Mom and Mary on a buggy ride

The very scary Adam and Raimee in costume

We aren't big on Santa in our family. While he is pretty jolly we are going to focus on the true meaning and significance. Plus it's just a big letdown when the kids find out it's not real.
Happy Birthday Jesus!!
Some other very exciting news (in case you haven't already heard us brag).

A little rice in your tummy
Hello!
Sally is 4 months old and feeling better and now eating a little more rice cereal. Unlike Mary, she enjoys eating from a spoon.
She is still a tiny little lamb only weighing in at 10lbs 11 oz so we are working on packing in the calories.
She is also taking some zantac and maalox for her reflux.
This weekend was not too fun as she had a mild fever and a gnarly cold and kept us up all night... but she is slowly getting better.
